Early intensive behavioural intervention (EIBI) has been shown to be effective in well-controlled university-based studies for many children with autism spectrum disorders. However, is it effective when delivered in the community, often under less than ideal conditions? In the presentation, Dr. Yu described how his team addressed this question and presented findings on children with autism spectrum disorders who have received EIBI in the community in Manitoba, Canada.
